Marvellama The Calmer Llama Mindfulness Card Set

The Marvellama Card Set is a tool to support children in developing their own Calm Place Scenes, that can be used for Guided Imagery. 

This Card Set contains 6 Question Cards, in which Marvellama is specifically helping children to think about the different sensory stimulus they can add to the scene that they are creating.  There are 12 other Cards in which Marvellama is able to tell the children about her sensory stimulus and how she has incorporated this into her Calm Place Scene.  Marvellama’s final Calm Place Scene is depicted in an image Card. 

There are also three heart Cards, with the names of three core emotions on them that are so important to help children to focus on during Guided Imagery.  These feelings, along with the focus on positive sensory information should support children to return to a more regulated physical and emotional state after the exercise. 

This PDF is 14 pages long in total and contains a range of creative and play ideas, in addition to a Simple Guided Imagery Meditation Format.
